What to Expect from Ascend Speakers

Ascend speakers are selected for their experience, insight, and ability to contribute meaningful education to the aviation training community.

Programming Tracks

Speakers are selected across three primary programming tracks:

Student Pilot Track

Focused on foundational education, career pathways, professionalism, and progression from training to aviation careers.

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Track

Centered on instructional excellence, safety, professional development, and leadership within aviation instruction.

Flight School Owners & Leadership Track

Designed for owners and operators seeking insight into operations, growth, instructor development, and organizational leadership.

In addition to track-specific sessions, Ascend will feature shared sessions that bring the entire community together.

Call for Speakers

Ascend is currently accepting speaker submissions for the 2026 summit.
We invite individuals who are passionate about aviation education, instruction, and professional development to submit proposals for consideration.
Speaker topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Instructional methodology and training quality
  • Student and instructor development
  • Flight school operations and leadership
  • Career readiness and workforce development
  • Safety, professionalism, and best practices

All submissions are reviewed by the Ascend programming team. Selected speakers will be contacted directly as the agenda is finalized.
Please note:

  • Submitting a proposal does not guarantee selection
  • Speakers may be considered for panels, workshops, or classroom sessions
  • Final formats and schedules will be determined by Ascend
